Trash Collection Schedule Change

The District’s trash collection days are changing from Monday/Thursday to Tuesday/Friday, beginning Friday, April 3rd. Recycling will also move from Thursday to Friday.

The Board recognized that last year we had several trash collection days that fell on end-of-year holidays. This impacted many homeowners, especially with heavier trash demand during the holiday season.

Working with our trash collection provider, Texas Pride, we have negotiated and approved a change to our trash pick-up schedule. Starting on April 1st, we will be moving to Tuesday/Friday collection days, with recycling pick-up on Fridays. Making this change guarantees trash collection on the Tuesdays immediately after Memorial Day and Labor Day, as well as the Friday immediately after Thanksgiving. These days were missed annually in our current collection schedule.
