2026 ELECTION

Notice of Election

TO THE QUALIFIED, REGISTERED VOTERS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 88 (THE “DISTRICT”) AND TO ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:

Notice is hereby given that an election will be held on May 2, 2026 (“Election Day”), between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of electing three members of the Board of Directors of the District. The nature of the election is a Directors Election.

Early Voting Information

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted at the polling places listed during the hours specified on Exhibit A from the Notice of Election document, available for download here.

Early Voting Dates & Hours

  • April 20th – 25th, Monday – Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • April 27th – 28th, Monday – Tuesday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

If an Application for Ballot By Mail is submitted by email or fax or if a Federal Post Card Application is submitted by fax, to be effective, the original application must also be physically submitted and be received not later than the fourth business day after it is received by email or fax. ABBMs must be received no later than the close of regular business or 12 noon, whichever is later, on Monday, April 20, 2026.

This District will be conducting the Election jointly with Montgomery County pursuant to Texas Election Code Sec. 271.
